The non-governmental organization \u201cInstitute of Social Initiatives\u201d (an associate member of the UMPD since May 26, 2026) was founded in Lviv at its founding meeting on May 20, 2013, with the aim of supporting initiatives, local communities, and reforms at the national level. <\/p>\n\n
The organization has a central office located in Lviv at 3 Chukarina Street. The organization is classified as a youth and volunteer organization, and we carry out this aspect of our work primarily at the international level\u2014through the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programs. The NGO \u201cISI\u201d is a member of the international association UNOY (United Network of Young Peacebuilders), the Association of International Volunteer Organizations, and the U.S. Youth, Peace, and Security (YPS) Coalition. <\/p>\n\n
The NGO \u201cInstitute of Social Initiatives\u201d has more than 60 members, and volunteers\u2014up to 100 people in total\u2014are regularly involved in organizing events. The organization employs six certified trainers specializing in the following areas: <\/p>\n\n
The organization has 12 highly qualified specialists who are constantly working on project implementation. In addition, the organization has well-established contacts with external experts and partners, with whom we collaborate through our network of experts and partners. Members of our organization serve on public councils at the local and regional levels in various regions of Ukraine. <\/p>\n\n
The Ivano-Frankivsk branch of the organization has extensive experience in implementing projects aimed at the adaptation of IDPs and their integration into community life, and regularly addresses issues affecting IDPs, including language learning, cultural development, and the traditions and ethnic characteristics of the Carpathian region.
