{"id":1962,"date":"2020-02-16T12:16:04","date_gmt":"2020-02-16T10:16:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/childrights.org.ua\/members\/ngo-dnipro-league-of-social-workers\/"},"modified":"2025-09-24T12:48:26","modified_gmt":"2025-09-24T09:48:26","slug":"ngo-dnipro-league-of-social-workers","status":"publish","type":"members","link":"https:\/\/childrights.org.ua\/en\/members\/ngo-dnipro-league-of-social-workers\/","title":{"rendered":"NGO &#8220;Dnipro League of Social Workers&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The <strong>NGO Dnipro League of Social Workers<\/strong> was founded in 2010 on the initiative of social <strong>workers<\/strong> to work throughout the Dnipro region.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Main areas of activity<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Case management<\/strong> is a comprehensive support and assistance to socially vulnerable families with children.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Psychosocial support<\/strong> based on child-friendly spaces: counseling, group classes, and developmental activities for children and parents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>Social Services Development Hub<\/strong> is an educational platform for professional development and exchange of experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Inclusive environment<\/strong> &#8211; helping families raising children with disabilities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Projects and initiatives<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>2019-2020<\/strong> &#8211; partnership projects with the Right to Protection CF with the support of NED aimed at strengthening the capacity of employees of social service centers working with IDPs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>2020-2021<\/strong> &#8211; subgrantees of the Ukrainian Child Rights Network with the support of UNICEF: monitoring of the observance of children&#8217;s rights in families after the return of children from institutionalized care during quarantine restrictions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>2021-2024<\/strong> &#8211; continuation of cooperation within the project of the Ukrainian Child Rights Network with the support of UNICEF.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>July 2023 &#8211; August 2024<\/strong> &#8211; Phase 1 of the project &#8220;Social Initiatives for Families with Children at the Community Level in Dnipro Oblast&#8221; with the support of UNICEF. Activities were implemented first in 10 communities, and later in 15. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>From October 2024 to the present day<\/strong>, Phase 2 of the project &#8220;Social Initiatives for Families with Children at the Community Level in the Dnipro Region&#8221; has been implemented with the support of UNICEF. The project geography has been expanded to 23 communities. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Priorities of the organization<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Restoration and development of the social protection sector in Ukraine.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Comprehensive support for IDPs and Ukrainians returning from abroad.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creating an inclusive environment in communities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advocacy for children and social workers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Psychological support for families who have been traumatized by the war, crisis response.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developing a system of day care centers for children with disabilities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Accompanying and supporting the families of military personnel and veterans (case management, reintegration, psychological assistance, support groups).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assistance to the most vulnerable categories of families, including those in situations of child abuse.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Development of alternative forms of education.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supporting young people from among orphans and children deprived of parental care.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Increasing the capacity of specialists in the field of social services.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Development of parental potential.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Achievements of the organization<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>As of <strong>September 2025<\/strong>, the Dnipro League of Social Workers has established an NGO in 23 communities in the frontline Dnipro region:<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>8 mobile case management teams<\/strong> to visit and support families directly at their place of residence.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>24 child-friendly spaces<\/strong> &#8211; group activities, trainings and individual consultations for children and parents.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>2 Social Services Development Hubs<\/strong> in Dnipro and Kryvyi Rih.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>1 Day care center for children with disabilities<\/strong> in Kryvyi Rih. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":11562,"template":"","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"inline_featured_image":false,"_mi_skip_tracking":false,"_vp_format_video_url":"","_vp_image_focal_point":[]},"class_list":["post-1962","members","type-members","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v20.1 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>NGO &quot;Dnipro League of Social Workers&quot;<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"The NGO Dnipro League of Social Workers was founded in 2010 on the initiative of social workers to work throughout the Dnipro region.
