He is the head of Inter-Fractional Working Group on children&#8217;s rights, which was established in the Parliament of Ukraine of VIII convocation.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>aim <\/strong>of the MPs group is to create conditions for implementation of children&#8217;s rights in Ukraine under the provisions of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, current legislation and within parliamentary powers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mission<\/strong> of the group is to ensure children&#8217;s rights in the legislative process, to defend publicly children&#8217;s rights in Ukraine, to cooperate with the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and civil society, international organizations and foundations for children&#8217;s rights; to implement international and European standards of legislative support for children in Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>The<strong> basic mechanisms<\/strong> of implementation of the stated objectives are: holding parliamentary committee hearings, thematic meetings, publishing statements, monitoring of the state policy in the field of children&#8217;s rights, sociological research, organization and participation in meetings, forums and conferences etc.<\/p>\n<p>Thus the group <strong>plans<\/strong> in cooperation with NGOs: to settle legally the existing problems, to develop and submit to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine bills, by means of MP&#8217;s inquiries and requests to help to solve problems faster and more effective.<\/p>\n<p>The Ukrainian Child Rights Network has expressed interest in such cooperation and willingness to participate in the legislative process.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"template":"","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"inline_featured_image":false,"_mi_skip_tracking":false,"_vp_format_video_url":"","_vp_image_focal_point":[]},"news_tag":[],"class_list":["post-1055","news","type-news","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v20.1 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>Inter-Fractional Working Group on children&#039;s rights was created in Parliament<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Oleksandr Feldman appealed to NGOs calling for cooperation.
