Kids of Ukraine
Kids of Ukraine is a charitable foundation that helps teenagers affected by the war restore their emotional health and find new opportunities for development.
The Foundation is implementing the SviTi recovery program aimed at creating a safe environment for teenagers aged 12-16, where everyone feels heard and understood. It is a community where teenagers find understanding, support and new opportunities for development. Through psychological support, creative activities and educational programs, they restore their emotional health and regain a sense of stability and confidence in the future. Here, everyone can express themselves freely and receive support to create new opportunities and a happy future.
The goal is to restore psychological health, adaptation, help with integration and choice of future education for adolescents.
Since June 1, 2022, more than 1500 teenagers have completed the SviTi program. 97% of them felt an improvement in their emotional state or noted positive changes. Most of the program participants are children from the occupied territories who have experienced the loss of loved ones, stress and trauma due to the war, as well as children of the military.
Main projects of the foundation:
- Active youth clubs in cities: places of support and development for teenagers, where they receive professional psychological help, find new friends, and participate in creative and educational activities.
- Recreational camps in the Carpathians: a unique transformative program where you can relax in a picturesque place without sirens, restore your emotional health, undergo psychological and team-building trainings, gain new experience in group hikes and participate in outdoor activities.
- Educational programs: preparation for adulthood, development of social and personal skills, assistance in choosing future education, and unlocking potential.
