UCRN launches collection for realization of dreams of children returned from occupation

The Ukrainian Child Rights Network (UCRN) announces a fundraiser on the My City platform. The goal is to raise funds within 100 days to fulfill the dreams of 17 children returned from deportation and the temporarily occupied territories by the URMC team.

The UMDP, together with its partners, has already returned 280 children who lived under occupation or were deported for a long time. Now they are going through a difficult path of recovery and adaptation in a safe environment.

These children’s dreams are not just wishes. It is their way to take a step towards a normal life, to feel stable and believe in the future.

For children who survived the occupation, a dream is more than a gift. It is an opportunity:

  • to develop and try new things;
  • acquire skills that will help them in their adult life;
  • return to activity and independence.

Where will the funds be allocated?

The fee will cover the following areas of support:

  • 17 individual dreams of children (each one is practical and justified by the child’s needs);
  • 5 career guidance meetings with Ukrainian specialists, artists and athletes;
  • participation of children in educational, creative and developmental events;
  • organization, logistics and transparent procurement.

Any other contribution to the dissemination of information is also important. You can:

  • share the news on social media;
  • place a link in the story;
  • save the post so that more people can see it.

Thank you all for your support. Every donation is important and makes children’s dreams come true.
