Charitable organization “Foundation of the Future”
The Foundation for the Future Charitable Foundation works with children and families in difficult life circumstances. The organization provides support when a family is in crisis and needs immediate help.
The foundation’s main activities are aimed at protecting children’s rights, supporting families and preventing children from entering institutional care. The foundation’s team supports the development of family-based care and works to ensure that children remain in their families.
The Foundation helps children and families affected by the war: evacuation, occupation, loss of home or loved ones. Particular attention is paid to children with disabilities, large families, foster families, family-type orphanages, and families at risk of separation from their children.
The foundation’s team is small but mobile. It involves social specialists, lawyers, psychologists, volunteers and experts. This allows us to respond quickly to difficult situations and find solutions even where standard assistance mechanisms do not work.
In recent years, the foundation has supported more than 5,000 children in different regions of Ukraine. During the period of full-scale war, the organization:
- evacuated families, foster families and family-type orphanages;
- helped to bring children back from the occupation;
- organized rehabilitation programs and camps for children;
- restored educational opportunities in the de-occupied territories;
- supported families in the frontline areas.
The foundation’s strength is its work with complex cases that require non-standard solutions and an individual approach. The organization has practical experience in the field and responds quickly to crisis situations.
