Distribution of humanitarian aid to internally displaced persons

During November-December 2014 Child Well-being Fund Ukraine joined the transfer of humanitarian aid to internally displaced persons from Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine.

Within the project “Humanitarian aid to internally displaced persons from Eastern regions of Ukraine” funded by Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe, the Child Well-being Fund Ukraine in cooperation with the Red Cross in Ukraine had delivered in towns of Mariupol, Artemivsk, Vugledar:

  • 410 sets of baby clothes,
  • 1010 sets of personal hygiene products for children and adults,
  • 980 food packages,
  • 590 first aid kits;
  • 1860 warm winter blankets and travel pads.

In addition, on December 10, 2014, was transferred humanitarian assistance (warm clothes and baby foods for infants) in Kryvyi Rih for several dozen families who find themselves in difficult circumstances because of the need to leave their own houses. Consul-General of the Consulate-General of the Federal Republic of Germany Dr. Detlev Wolter and representatives of Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe Marino Jansen, Isabel Uhe and Thomas Lones participated in the distribution of humanitarian aid and communication with displaced families from the Donetsk and Lugansk regions.

Humanitarian aid is distributed primarily among families with children displaced from the ATO area.
