Informative seminar on the implementation of programs on trafficking

29 – January 30, 2015 the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine together with Ukrainian Fund “Child Well-being” held a seminar presentation on the implementation of the program of educational work with adolescents on combating trafficking in human beings

In order to implement the action plan of the National Programme against Trafficking in Human Beings for the period until 2015, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated March 21, 2012 № 350, corresponding to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine of 19.07.2012 № 827 Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine together with the Ukrainian Fund “Child Well-being” 29 – January 30, 2015 held a seminar on the implementation of the program of educational work with adolescents on combating trafficking in human beings “Personal dignity. Safety of life. Citizenship. ”

The event was attended by representatives of departments (departments) of education and science of regional and city administrations, Institute of Postgraduate Education.

During the workshop participants:

discussed new trends in trafficking;
reviewed the program of educational work on combating trafficking in human beings;
received the program course “Implementation of the educational work on combating trafficking in human beings” Personal dignity. Safety of life. Citizenship “;
reviewed the technique of desktop education and prevention Games “rose-colored glasses,” “Crossing Europe”, comics, e-lesson.

Presentation workshop was held in the framework of the project “Prevention of Human Trafficking through Social Work and Community Mobilization” implemented by the International Organization for Migration in Ukraine in partnership with Ukrainian Fund “Child Well-being” and the Western Resource Centre and funded by the Swiss Confederation.
