Presentation of the study (Non)return of children: Ukraine in the face of the greatest challenge since the Independence
On September 13, the Ukrainian Child Rights Network, together with the Regional Center for Human Rights and the Voices of Children Foundation, will present the study
“(Non)return of children: Ukraine in the face of the greatest challenge since the Independence.”
Three organizations have summarized all their experience from the past three years of war to investigate the circumstances of child abductions and understand what measures we, as a country, can take to prevent such crimes in the future. The joint report is based on the results of interviews with children and their parents/guardians, specialists involved in return and support processes, as well as a comprehensive analysis of international humanitarian law and international children’s rights law.
he results of the study will be presented on September 13. The event will be streamed on the Ukrainian Network for Children’s Rights Facebook page at 10:00 AM. During the presentation, experts will provide recommendations for government authorities and international partners on improving the protection of the rights of affected children.
