Ukrainian Portal “No to Orphancy!” is working for 5 years already!

We congratulate our partners – “No to Orphancy!” – the project of Rinat Akhmetov Foundation with the 5th anniversary!

5 years ago, December 9, 2009, at the initiative of Rinat Akhmetov Foundation, was launched the Ukrainian portal “No to Orphancy!”.

During this time, 7405 children from all over Ukraine have found new loving parents, among them 4192 children were adopted, in 1267 children were taken into care, 1943 children are now in foster families and family-type homes.

There are 11,054 application forms of children at the portal now.

24,000 children available for adoption are growing up in institutions today.
Together with partners of the portal – NGO “Magnolia”, the Ministry of Social Policy, Media Group “Ukraine”, FC “Shakhtar” and other organizations – Fund will continue to implement the strategy aimed at reforms of boarding schools, prevention of child abandonment and finding new families for children available for adoption.
